Recruitment Summary

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the NDA & NA Examination II 2024 to select candidates for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 154th Course and the 116th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), commencing from July 2, 2025. A total of 404 vacancies are up for grabs in this prestigious examination.

• For General and OBC Male Candidates: ₹100
• For SC/ST Candidates and All Female Candidates: Nil

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian
• Age: 16.5 to 19.5 years (as of January 1, 2025)
• Educational Qualification:
  • For Army Wing: 12th Class Pass from a recognized board
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings: 12th Class Pass with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board
• Marital Status: Unmarried
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit as per the standards specified in the official notification.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: The written exam consists of two papers: Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks).
2. Intelligence and Personality Test: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an Intelligence and Personality Test conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
3. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

• Mathematics: Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of Two and Three Dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability.
• General Ability Test: English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, and Current Events.
