Educational Qualification (As on 30.09.2026)

Required Degree: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Final Year Students: Those in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally. However, they must produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 30.09.2026 if called for the interview.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selection Process

The SBI PO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process is rigorous and divided into three distinct phases:

1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: An online objective test. Marks scored here are used only to shortlist candidates for the Main Exam and are not added to the final merit list.

2. Phase-II: Main Examination: Consists of an online Objective Test (200 marks) and a Descriptive Test (30 marks).

Important Instructions

Multiple Applications: Do not submit more than one application. In case of multiple submissions, only the last valid completed application will be retained, and earlier fees will be forfeited.

Number of Chances: There is a limit on the maximum attempts for SBI PO. UR/EWS get 6 chances, OBC/PwBD get 9 chances, and there is no restriction for SC/ST candidates. Appearing in the Prelims does not count as a chance.

Valid Email & Mobile: Keep your registered email ID and mobile number active till the final result declaration, as all call letters and advices will be sent digitally.
