Selection ProcessThe IBPS Clerk Selection Process is a rigorous, multi-tier system designed to test cognitive abilities and language proficiency:
  1. Online Preliminary Examination: An objective-type qualifying test. Candidates must secure minimum cut-off marks to be shortlisted for the Mains.
  2. Online Main Examination: The core scoring test. Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for final merit listing and provisional allotment.

  • Negative Marking: There will be a penalty for wrong answers. One-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for every incorrect response in both Preliminary and Main exams.

Important Instructions
  • Single Application: Not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid application will be retained.
